We pick up from any hotel/Airbnb in Seoul. If you request pick up from Incheon airport, there will be an additional cost.
Following hotel pickup in the morning by private vehicle, your personal guide accompanies you to Gyeongbokgung Palace. At the palace entrance you'll see an impressive reenactment of the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony, performed at Gwanghwamun Gate during the Joseon Dynasty.

Gain admission to Gyeongbokgung, considered the most beautiful of the Five Grand Palaces in Seoul. Wander the pavilions and ponds with your guide and learn about its architectural features. (When the palace is closed on Tuesdays, you will visit Changdeokgung Palace instead.)

Next up is Bukchon Hanok Village, a traditional Korean village built nearby. Stroll among hundreds of homes called hanok, most dating to the Joseon Dynasty. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue into the heart of the capital and browse among the alleys of Insadong. You'll find antique items on display amid the galleries, eateries, traditional teahouses, and cafes.

Then pay a visit to Jogyesa, the main temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. Located within the city, the stately complex is a religious site for practitioners of Seon (Zen) Buddhism. 

N Seoul Tower (Namsan Tower) is the final stop on your full-day itinerary. After a cable car ride or walk to the top of Namsan Mountain, you'll have unobstructed views of the city from this prominent landmark (entrance fees and cable car ride are your own expense). Afterward, you’re dropped off at your hotel.

We loved our tour with Dave! If you want to learn about the immense history and culture of Seoul, this is the tour for you. We saw so much in one day! Dave is super knowledgeable about the history and can speak English well. He took his time with us and customized any part of the tour we wanted. Part of the tour you will be walking and part will be in his van. We also felt comfortable going to a Korean restaurant during lunch time since he speaks Korean and helped us order. That’s not something we felt confident doing so it added so much to our trip! Book this tour!

Our family had a chance to hear the history of Seoul from our driver and guide Justin. We learned and felt the pulse of the city even for a day. We enjoyed a wonderful tour with Brian! He met us right on time at our apartment and treated us to a day full of interesting information and great locations. Having the private tour was worth every penny because of the attention, flexibility, and ease of getting around. The mid-day lunch was very tasty as well. Brian is a great tour guide, with excellent English skills. He knows his city well and you can see he loves to show it. The pace felt right, no feeling rushed at all. Brian was flexible in making changes to suit our preferred lunch schedule. We had lunch at a Ginseng Chicken Soup place that was excellent, and that we would have been unlikely to find/try on our own. Since we were done early with the planned stops (we chose to spend less time than most people do in some of the stops), he added an one more place to visit: the Gwangjang market, which was fascinating!

It was a very nice tour, the guide was very good, made sure we were at the palace to see the changing of the guards, the native village and the Buddhist temple were very nice, and the view from the Seoul tour was amazing. Plus having lunch with a local makes it much easier if you want to try local food.

Justin, our tour guide was so accommodating and very knowledgeable when it comes to Korea history and culture. And yes, he speaks English fluently! He was kind and patient enough to adjust to our request of customizing the itinerary as to the places we want to go. We visited Gyeongbok-gung Palace, watched Royal Guards' Changing Ceremony (he patiently waited for us when it took us some time for our 4 year old kid in the restroom), passed by the Blue House, visited Bukchon, Insadong, Gwangjang Market and had some shopping time at Dongdaemun Market. During these times, he willingly took our pictures with his camera and guided us with good spots where to pose🤗. The weather was quite hot but we covered major tourist attractions downtown in Seoul. Good job Justin, you are a gem to the company!

This was a fantastic tour! We were a family group of 6 aged from 12 to 75 and Brian did a fantastic job not only keeping the pace of the tour appropriate but was able to relate the history of the tour stops so all of us stayed interested and engaged. Brian is so easy to talk to and he really makes the history interesting . It was a great selection of tour stops and we felt we got the most out of our whole day in Seoul. Brian even made a special stop for us to buy a hanbok for my daughter from the traditional market! as a life long Seoul native, we really enjoyed getting to know Seoul with Brian. Definitely request Brian for a tour guide if you can!

Firstly our guide Rosi made the tour great. He was understanding with what we wanted to do and adjusted the tour as required. All the sites that we visited was what we were expecting and enhanced by Rosi's information that he provided us. Lunch also was great and we enjoyed experiencing the local food. Highly recommend this tour especially if you get Rosi as your guide.

Henry our guide was full of information and very prepared. The visit started at 9.30am with the Royal Palace. Because we were only me and my boyfriend again alone (I booked the small group tour) Henry gave me time to take as many photos as I wanted. Lunch was very good in a traditional restaurant. The full visit was taken care very well and also we managed to add a visit to a Seoul Market which was very interesting. Henry as a guide is excellent and the tour worse booking unless you feel yaking a lot of taxis or spending a lot of time dealing with the subway (which we know how to use but still easier to have someone taking you around and explaining all)

We had Justin as our tour guide and he was great from the minute he picked us up to the moment he dropped us off at our hotel. He took time to take a ton of pictures and send them to us in only a days time. This is going above and beyond what a tour guide has to do. This is in his spare time at home so we very much appreciate his thoughtfulness. He showed us a good time and we loved every minute of it.
